This extremely successful and reputable property development company is seeking to expand one of their current legal teams to accommodate for rapid expansion and growth within the business. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, your main purpose will be to support and assist the Senior Counsel to fulfill the responsibilities of the legal functions. The responsibilities include: - Managing and administering legal elements across the business unit which involves interfacing with the leasing and property management division
- Coordinating and managing external local law firms
- Preparation of advice to the leasing and property management division
- Preparation of documentation relating to leasing and property
- Handling all third party rights with regard to granting and regulating property transactions and corporate governance
In this role: - It is essential that you bring your sound drafting skills, excellent attention to detail, and well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, be very adaptable and responsive to change, and be able to work independently.
- You must display a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience with property and general commercial experience.
- Superior academics and qualifications in a recognised legal jurisdiction, including common law training, are essential.
- Strata/body corporate experience is a preference as is knowledge of body corporate management and complex titling.
