Our client's Corporate Commercial team is looking to expand their success with the addition of another associate. This team provides a full range of commercial legal services through the entire business cycle from start up through to wind up. They are a top 50 City legal practice with numerous offices, and are known for their client care, expertise, and cost effectiveness.

Key tasks include:

• Assisting with ad-hoc corporate advisory tasks for existing clients and advising (under supervision) accordingly
• Working as part of wider teams across the office and across the Practice on transactions of varying complexity
• Using precedents and drafting, and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, and constitutional documents including company incorporation work and miscellaneous company secretarial work
• Assisting with due diligence exercises and preparing appropriate reports required

The successful candidate will have:

• 3-4 years PQE
• Technical expertise and ability to not only research and advise on the law but also to apply that advice to realities of the situation encountered
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commercial awareness, financial acumen, businesslike approach, and effective decision making
• Reliability, commitment, and team skills
• Organisational ability
