Following the intended return by the previous General Counsel (original three year contract extended to four) our brief was to find a replacement, having regard to the increased scale of activities of the company since the predecessor had joined.
The Approach
We capitalised on the networks and relationships of dedicated legal and compliance consultants in the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe in order to conduct a targeted and four-pronged approach.
The final shortlisted candidates came from three different continents.
The Result
We considered and interviewed approximately 50 different candidates and were fortunate to appoint one of the most well regarded telecommunications General Counsel in the country.
